The Medway Short Course Pathway
Back
Skills for MURs is one of a number of short courses available to pharmacists through the Medway School of Pharmacy. Many of these courses are delivered by distance learning, offering practising pharmacists the flexibility to work through the course at their own pace. Courses are assessed either through multiple choice questions, or by asking students to complete case studies.
Successful completion of each course will lead to you being awarded a given number of academic credits. These credits can be accrued and can ultimately be used to attain a University qualification, that of a Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacotherapy and Service Development (60 credits).
Courses in the Short Course Pathway delivered in conjunction with C+D include:
  1. Skills for MURs (5 credits)
  2. Patient Monitoring in Practice (10 credits)
  3. Practice Certificate in Pharmacy Management Pt 1 and 2 (10 credits)
  4. Skills for Public Health (5 credits)

There are a further eight Practice Certificate courses offered by the School. For details of these, and more information on the Medway School of Pharmacy Short Course Pathway:
